What was the highlight of Vincci Dar Midoun
Great location, but uncomfortable staff interactions
The room was spacious and exactly as requested, with a beautiful sea view that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff did their best to accommodate an earlier check-out. However, it wasn't quite as early as initially confirmed via Booking.com. The beach is very close to the hotel and is stunning—clean and well-maintained for the most part, perfect for a beach getaway. Amenities were all in good condition, and there was enough variety in food choices, offering something for everyone. Overall, the price matched the value, making it a decent option for an all-inclusive stay.
The drink choices at the hotel were not great, especially for an all-inclusive resort. The selection felt limited, and I expected more variety. While the beach is lovely, there’s a lot of camel and horse traffic on it, which can make parts of it dirty at times, detracting from the otherwise beautiful setting. Unfortunately, there were a few interactions with the staff that made me feel uncomfortable. On several occasions, I was hit on by a member of the staff, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. One evening, a waiter commented on me drinking “too much” after I had only had two glasses of wine with my dinner, which I found intrusive. While I like to believe these situations were due to cultural differences or language barriers, the fact remains that my family and I felt uncomfortable on several occasions. Lastly, the animation staff was too intrusive and overbearing. While I understand their role is to engage guests, it felt more like a nuisance than entertainment.

Ordinary stay
The hotel was very close to the beach and the beach was clean.
The air conditioning was not working and we were told that they would only open them after the first of June. Hence the room was too hot.
